I am having the same problem getting off the liner to wash it. It appears that the whole thing needs to be taken apart. Please help

  • Anonymous Jul 11, 2008

The unclip response I am pretty sure is referring to the bottom section of the Bassinet liner. The real problem lies in getting the top part off of the locking arches that do not seem easy to remove.

Has anyone had any luck getting this thing off ? I looked at a newer version floor model at the store and they have velcro all the way down both end-sides to get it over that top bar. Maybe they fiqured out that our model doesn't come apart to wash !! I'm thinking of cutting it then attaching my own velcro to get it back together...?

Remove/losen the velcro for the bottom of the bed . There are three screws on each side of the base were the music box and volume is. You want to remove the MIDDLE screw ONLY on each side. On each opposite end of the base is a large screw and on the other side is a smaller screw, unloosen the screws and the base of the bed fall off so that you can remove the lining. Remember you only need to remove the middle screw.

You have to take the entire cradle off of the base and then remove the linens from the bottom up. Undo the velcro on the bottom and work your way up to pull it over the top. I think I'm going to alter it by making a seam down both sides where the cradle joints are and inserting velcro to fasten it. It's pretty silly to have to take the entire bassinet apart just to clean the linens.

Cant get my quinny zapp raincover to stay on at the bottom, its all elasticated around bottom of raincover, no velcro. I put it over the bottom of buggy and it springs back off again. any one help

Good Afternoon

The Zapp raincover is held at the top of the pushchair with velcro ties so make sure these are done up properly and then stretch the raincover over the seat unit and around the bottom and the elastic section should then hold the raincover firmly in place.

you have to remove the agitator and have a spanner wrench to remove the top nut so you can pull the inner basket out.

Cant remove agitator. Fabric softener cap is off but i do not see a screw or bolt to remove the assembly. agitator is only weakly working

There should be a 7/16 bolt in the bottom of the cup once you have taken the cup out. Its kinda deep you would need a longer extension. Also this agitator bolt usually has a gasket material attached to it and it may be covered by another cap.

I got this bassinet 2nd hand. I can tell you that I did wash the whole set. You have to take the screws out at either end to remove the cover (one screw is behind the batteries in the music box). I removed the plastic parts (the slits are closed with velcro for the flat plastic panels so the plastic simply slides out). The hoops were a little more difficult but since it is an overlap closing and the hoops are flexible, you can remove them. Simply wash in cold water and hang to dry. When its dry, you can put the plastic slides and hoops back in the same way you took them out. Came out fine.

I could not get the fabric off my canopy either. I found it slide nicely into my washer (top loader with agitator) even with metal insert. I washed on delicate and it came out great, with no damage to canopy.

what I would do is try to find a way to completely detach it bars and all. they hand wash the whole thing...bars and all in the bath tub or something. This is what I did with my eddie bauer tandom stroller (worked like a charm)

No Power - Problem locating fuse

I have repaired many Gaggenau extractors before. On this model you were correct to remove two top screws from duct. The top and lower duct slide inside each other, and should be removed as 1 unit, by lifting the lower duct UP and then away from the wall. Sometimes there are two further screws holding the bottom duct to the canopy. Remove the filters and check for screws from inside canopy. Once ducts are removed you will see the a box, metal or plastic. Remove lid and you will see the pc board. There is a 10A fuse on there. Some models do not have fuses, and the whole board should be replaced! Good luck! C.
