if water full light stays on the compressor wont start and remove water from air , investigate why light stays on ? is bucket really full? is sensor knocked out of its fragile holder ? is bucket all the way inside machine so that sensor is connected ?
In the water bucket is a float assm. scale forms on the assm. and causes it to stick. Remove the float assm. and carefully remove the scale. Should start working again once done. If not you may have to replace it.
When the Bucket Full Light is on, none of the controls (other than the On/Off) will work. If you haven't emptied the bucket, do so. Then make sure the bucket is reinstalled properly into the holder. Failure to do this will cause the Bucket Full Light to stay ON. While you have the bucket out, check the inside of it for a float valve. It may be stick in the UP position. If so, jiggle the handle to make it return to the DOWN position.
I hope this helped you and thanks for Choosing FixYa.
There should be a switch that is activated by a float lever that if tripped will make the bucket full light stay on, and will prevent the unit from going on.
If this light is on when the bucket is empty, maybe try to jiggle the float lever, or investigate why the switch is activated when the bucket is empty.
Try feeling both sides of the outside of the bucket and make sure the bucket is flush with the dehumidifier. If one side is sticking out more than the other it may notbe engaged correctly which will cause a full bucket notification. If everything checks out ok there try takng the bucket out and push in on the button that the lever from the bucket engages on at the dehumidifier. If the light turns off after you push on the red button that means the bucket is not engaging correctly. If the red light stays on and it doesnt make a difference he button sensor may be defective.
