Slaping camera in the face did solve the problem for now.

I found advice on the web.

Will it work for for good?

    Who knows?

    My explanation?

    Shaking sometimes does the tricks/unlocks/unblocks

I think I have the same exact problem but I see C:31:22 instead of C:21:23.

What it looks like to me is that the stupid overly automated tape input system has stopped recognizing when the tape is in or ejected. I am also getting a blinking message of the universal eject symbol (a triangle pointing up with a bar underneath it). If I could only get into the camera without that damn tape input system maybe i could just clean it put, but for right now I will just have to pay for help, or smash my camera.

This indicates that the head/drum assembly is having a problem. This is not a problem that can be fixed without camera repair experience. This may require a belt. Figure on $15 for parts plus your local labor rate for the repair. I have seen a number of these that only require a rebuild of the mechanism as well.

There is somehting loose inside that is preventing heads from spinning. That is what generated the message. Hitting the unit may have jarred loose what ever caught the heads. This is not the solution. This unit should be serviced BEFORE the heads get damaged. If the heads get damaged at all the camera won't be worth the repair cost. Please have this serviced.

How do I put to work my camera, when there is a blinking message "C.ENG" "EJECTING" and does not do anything?

possibly needs head cleaning with isopropyl, but if you have a manual look up the code. its probably something to do with engineering mode. Also try different tapes and make sure they are able to rotate.

Screen has error message and won't play tape. What is wrong?

This message appears when the loading tape path become misaligned (mechanically unstable). Your camera just need mechanical adjustment from any expert and it will work fine again. Contact any service man for this.

Memory card question

I think its just a warning message but it shouldn't stop you from recording to tape.

If you can pick one up and install it in the camera, that will get rid of it.

It should take SD cards. They can be anywhere from 64mb to 2 gig in size. You should use the high speed cards as well such as a San Disk Ulra II. Standard cards may cause quality issues.
