Provided that the memphis studio series is still 1 ohm stable you would wire each coil of each speaker like this : posive to positive negative to negetive on the speaker using 2 jumper wires then run 1 coil from each subs positive and negative the input on the amp that amp would see a 1 ohm load from both speakers as each speaker would become a 2 ohm load. from experience, memphis does not make an amplifier that is brutal enough on power for L7 15" solos, i have the st 1600 d amp running only 2 dual 4 ohm 10 L5's and it is barely enough power for them. For less money than your 2 subs cost retail I can get you brand new matching 2000 watt true competition rated and proven 1 ohm power and 2 subs that would physically fit in your current box, i would however recommend a very very large box for 2 15" squares. you can email me at sicaudio@msn.com , my advice and system designs are always free even if you do not buy thru me. I am usually 1/3 to 1/2 what retail is with full warranties and i can drop ship anywhere in the U.S.A.

I hv a Memphis 1100 watt mono block n a kicker 12" l7 try to get rid of the flutter or hum at low volume tried just about everything suggestions plzzz

I once got a hum from running the rca and power wires side by side, separated em and problem was solved. Could also be something shorting to the frame, bad ground, cracked insulation on rca wires, the gain might be set to high or maybe the amps dying. It could take over a year for an amp to completely die. But you can always pick up an electronic noise eliminator from radio shack for like ten to twenty bucks

I have 2 15 inch L5 solo baric subs and need a amp?

the 15" l5 is rated at 750 watts rms so i suggest you get an amp with atleast that much power because if you get a amp weaker than that you run the risk of clipping your subs and blowing them

I have 2 kicker l7 wanting to wire to best olm with hifonics 1200 mono

the best way to wire it is @ 1 ohm, but your amp has to be a 1 ohm stable amp. i'll attach some pics for you. this wiring depends on what ohm your subs are.

Wireing two dual 4 ohm kicker cvr 15s on a memphis pr1000 at a 1 ohm load. I trying to get these kickers to hit harder. Do I need a bigger amp or what?

CVR series do not have large power handling capabilities.
Your subs will melt before the amplifier is used to its full potential.
If the subs arent in a ported enclosure - do that.
They both handle 500w rms - so the pr1000 is perfect.
bass response is all in the enclosure!

What wires do i need to hook up 2 kicker solobaric s15l7 to a car

You will need the amp wires. Red Positive to battery, Black negative from amp ground to unpainted car body surface, and the blue remote wire that goes from amp to remote wire on back of cd deck.
Then you will need the rca cables from rear output of cd player to the amp.
Then just the positive and negative wire from speaker to amp. Use Speaker Positive wire to Amp Right Channel Positive
And speaker negative wire to amp Left Channel Legative wire.
That is it.

Logic soundlab cpx1400 need to wire to a kicker cvr 15

Hello discrete01,

The Kicker model number 07CVR122 has dual 2 ohm voice coils, and can be wired for either 1 ohm or 4 ohms. Model number 07CVR124 has dual 4 ohm voice coils and can be wired for either 2 ohms or 8 ohms.

Kicker's wiring page is here: http://www.kicker.com/dvc_wiring

If you have the version with 2 ohm voice coils, you want to use the 2nd diagram for a final load of 4 ohms to the amp. The 1 ohm load is too low for the amp and will cause it to overheat and possibly fail. If you have the 4 ohm version, use the wiring shown in the 3rd diagram which is a perfect match for the amp.

Hope this helps.

How do you wire 4 kicker cvr dual voice coil 4ohms to a 1500.1 kicker mono block 1 channel amp, they sound distorted when i turn them up, how should i wire them?

Hello antjobe,

According to Kicker the 1500.1 is only stable to 2ohms. So you will want your 4 CVR's to present a 2ohm or higher impedance to the amp.

The best configuration would be to wire the voice coils in series (each sub 8ohms) and then parallel all of the subs to the amp (2ohms). Here's a link to the diagram.

Hope this helps.

Wiring my 2 L7 with a kicker 1000times1

Run the subs in series then bridge the amp. So run the normal + to - to the one sub then hook up a spare wire (not connected to the amp) to the same + and - connections. Then run the spare wire to the + and - of the other sub. This will tie the 2 together so you can bridge the ampfor more power instead of using 2 seperate channels.
