How do u convert from kerosene to diesel

there may be possible ways out there to do the conversion but it may put you and your loved ones in jeopardy. kerosene and diesel fuel have different thermal characteristic during the burning process so the heater designed to run on kerosene may not be capable of handling the burning characteristics of diesel fuel. This may lead to unwanted fire incidents and loss of lives. Best is to purchase heater made for diesel fuel.

Yes timing is everything with motors if the cylinder isn't firing at the right time all u are doing is filling the cylinder with raw fuel and dumping it into exhaust un burned it can eventually ruin you're catalytic converters also, get it professionally timed you're truck will run like a champ, unles u already caused damage.

I HAVE AN 84 TOYOTA 22R DIESEL AND WHEN ITS COLD IT WONT FIRE BUT IF I PUSH START IT IT STARTS RIGHT UP?GLOW PLUGS?

HELLO THERE:
Diesel engines work under heat of compression meaning that when the fuel is injected into the cylinder and is compressed during the compression stroke in the cylinder it heats up untill it fires.
If the engine is now starting and you are letting the glow plug on for the reccommended amount of time than yes i would consider getting a glow plug that has a higher temperature range on it.
also you can get fuel heaters this is what we use on all of our big rigs they are better know as pre heaters they work very well when the temperatures are very cold and of course a block heater works well too ok
I hope that this is very helpful for you.
Best regards michael
