One of our radios is fully charged but every time we try and talk it pauses the screen goes blank & we can't hear on the other radios.

Replace the batteries. That will solve your problem.

While the screen goes blank, does it drop the call? Are the handsets fully charged, or are they on the charging dock whenever they are not in use?

The batteries may need to be replaced. Bad batteries can in some cases cause the phone features to not fully work. They are located in the back, bottom of the handset.

1. Fully charge the unit.

2. Get a song to play.

3. Lock the device by moving the Hold/Power switch up.

4. Wait for the screen to blank to black, and also wait an ADDITIONAL 25-seconds after the screen blanks.

5. While holding the Play/Pause button down, move the Hold/Power switch out of the lock-mode, and all the way down (like you're turning it off).

6. Release the Play/Pause button.

THE PAUSE TIME YOU ARE TELLING IS THE TIME TAKEN BY CAMERA TO READY AGAIN. YOU CAN NOTICE THAT WHEN YOU SHOOT PHOTO WITHOUT FLAST/OUTDOOR IN DAY TIME THAN IT DO NOT TAKES TIME PAUSE. WHEN CAMERA USES FLASH IT WILL TAKE TIME TO BE READY FOR NEXT SHOOT. IT IS NORMAL

My AIPTEK 1080p was powering on but the screen was turning off within one second of turning the unit on. I verified that the camera was still working and just the output onto the screen failed. I was able to resolve this by hooking the camcorder up to the TV and viewing the menus on the TV and then turning the camcorder off with the power button. I think this problem happened because I didn't do a "clean" shutdown the last time I had my aiptek hooked up to the TV. It is now working perfectly!

You are correct, the battery is bad. When batteries begin to fail, they may appear to hold a full charge, but when put under a load they fail to maintain the proper power to fully power the radio. Generally you will notice screens going blank, poor or no transmit, etc. Simple solution, replace the battery. New batteries are available for around $30 (US dollars).

there are 2 options

incoming calls received +

on a call

try disabling both these options and let me know what happens
