1. Unplug the power cable from printer when the printer is powered on and wait for 20 seconds.
2. Then, press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord.
Continue holding until it displays Semi Full Reset message in the front panel of the All-in-One. Bill: that's fine. I do not have the cartridges replaced yet though Bill: do you still want me to proceed or wait until I get the cartridges in there? Stewart: Please follow the steps and let me knwo the result. Bill: The Carriage is to the extreme rigt side of the unit and it is very difficult to replace the cartridges. Bill: Very difficult as in there may be breakage forcing them back in Bill: Is itnecessary to have the cartridges in there to do a factory reset? Stewart: No problem Stewart: Please perfrom the steps with Out the cartridges. Bill: OK, give me a few Stewart: Fine Bill: OK, got a semi full... message that is Stewart: Okay Stewart: Please turn off the All-in-One Stewart: And turn on Bill: now there is a blank LCD screen and 4 flashing lights Bill: no movement in the carriage Stewart: Do you see any mesage on the All-in-One now. Bill: none Stewart: Okay Stewart: Please insert the cartridges back . Bill: OK, once again... this is very difficul and is only possible by forcing the cartridges and bending plastic pieces within the unit past the engineers specs I'm sure. Stewart: Okay Stewart: I appreciate your patience and efforts in performing all the troubleshooting steps provided. I am sorry to inform you that we have tried all the possible troubleshooting steps that should resolve the issue. However, the issue at hand seems to be with the hardware malfunction of the unit. Upgrade Options Stewart: In this upgrade options, you will get another printer which is an upgrade model of HP All-in-One. What the flashing light means The Power light can flash for several reasons:
