Re: Nokia N95 calls by itself
Try hard formatting your phone. Turn it off. Then hold the following keys
WHILE it's turning back on: (3 + * + green call key). Don't let go till
it asks you about your location. Be aware that it will delete
everything saved in your phone memory. If not it could be that your key membrane is sticky. You could have it opened and cleaned by a professional Try the first solution first. Let me know how it goes. :)

Here follow this....check the battery ok.....do it...Press and hold 3 keys i.e. Green, dial key, *, Star key, no. 3 , key on
keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the phone.Examine
the battery backup of your phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 button
i.e * + 3 + green just press and hold keys until you see a formatting
word screen shown........But in N series don't release the three button
until the time set shown . original system and factory setting has also
done automatically. There is no guarantee coz it might not work with
some phone.............................................Try and Enjoy
This problem is caused by Viruses use a good anti virus and update it regularly.... First you need to format your phone take out memmory card from it,save important contacts and files to pc, Then full charge battery and switch off mobile then press and hold these keys Call + * +3 then switch on mobile(Dont unhold Call + * +3 this keys for 2 minutes) then your phone got Hard reset and see the problem solved.Or your keypad ic got fried replace it by taking the mobile to authorised service centre. Thanks
First: if the phone menus work there is a; go to menu -> tools -> settings -> general -> factory restore.
note: the defualt code is 12345
Seconed method requires you to enter these into the dial number area.
Nokia Code : *#7370# : NOKIA Format phone (Soft Reset) Nokia Code : *#7780# : NOKIA Factory Reset (Hard Reset) Found these in the N95USERS fourm.
Note: the defualt code is 12345
Third: is a button combination the needs to be done during the phone powering on
Hold down. 3, * and Green Call button
While holding this combination press the power button once to start the phone
Note: this does not require any codes; if this works the phone will prompt you to be set up again
your cell phone is infected with virus you want to HARD FORMAT, switch off your mobile phone 1st, then press and hold 3 keys at a time star key, green dial key, and no. 3 key. then switch on your phone. do not unhold all three key's until nokia's logo come's [hand shake] . it's done. you have to select your city. mean's your phone is virus free now. [get backup of your contacts and messeges before formatting or you will lose your data]
It must be a connection problem, to the LCD, or the light is not working.
Can only be sorted by looking at it really.
Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort) Give it time to work.
