I can send you the driver download link from Acer meant for your laptop.

Do you want me to do that?

Also, have you checked your Fn+Speaker Mute key to toggle it from off to on. This mute or volume down key is usually the Page Down Key or a key near it, plus the Fn key you press both keys at the same time.

Regards,
Worldvet

you need to extract the files from the zip file first.

If you don't have a decompresser you can get one from

    www.rarlabs.com on the downloads page.

Ones you have installed winrar you can open the compressed archive and extract the files.

Ones extracted you need to run the setup.exe file.

  1. open volume controls and make sure not muted
  2. check to make correct speakers are plugged into the speaker port and that connection is good
  3. make sure program you are running is not muted.
  4. check your hardware settings to diagnose sound card through control panel

I have acer aspire 5583 Laptop and sound driver is not supporting. After downloading the audio driver i have tried a lot to load the driver but it is not loading.

we need to know what operating system you are using on the laptop. If you have recently upgraded the laptop to Windows 7, you may need to re-install Vista or XP as your sound chip may not be supported by Windows 7. Go to the ACER website and look under the support tab..

My laptop model is Aspire Acer 4720z. It doesn't have a sound unless you attach headphones or an external speaker

If you press the FN key + F8 key they are the ones that toggles the speakers on and off. There is nothing wrong with your speakers.
