Question about Dometic Rooftop RV Air Conditioner

Do you think it could be the fan capasitor?

What other solutions do you have ? I hate to just start replacing parts to find the problem or do you feel strongly that it is the fan motor?

    What symptoms to you have?
What kind of diagnosis have you already done?

I won't comment on this problem as there is not enough information.

I would suggest to avoid any responses from "koolbreezes" as they seem more intent on replying with insultingly inappropriate solutions, rather than actually helping.

I have an LG front load washer and I can't start the machine, the power button will not respond. I have power to the unit because the interior drum light has stayed on. Any suggestions?

The starting capasitor on the motor could be faulty. If this happens the machine would not start running. A method to check if it is the starting capasitor, is to open up the washing machine covers and once the button is pushed - give the motor a turn by hand to see if it starts running. This should only be done by a qualified person as it is dangerous if you do not know what you are doing.
If the washing machine motor starts running, then the capasitor if faulty and needs to be replaced,
Trust this will help you.

Do you think it could be the fan capasitor?

if even after changing the capacitor the fan does not run on its own , so it indicates the weak fan motor .but before that check whether the bearings are chocked up ,sometimes even choked bearings cause this type of problem.

for any further queries feel free to ask.

your going to hate me now? if the dryer motor is humming its poped its clogs on you and you will need a mew motor fitted,,,the motor has two windings in it one of them is the starter winding some use a big capasitor that holds lots of volts to give this winding a realy hard kick to start the motor turning wonce its spinning the seconed winding can keep the motor spinning if a capasitor is fitted it could be that thats packed up but normaly its the first winding burnt out,,,
now your totally bored with me,,, you just found out you hate me as well

TV is blank and status light is blinking yellow

I think you have a powersupply problem. This model has had alot of problems with bad electrolitic capasitors through out the entire chassi assy. Because of the way the manufacture designed this unit you may be better off getting a Mitsubishi Authorised service company to fix it. If you feel confedent,
check the powersuppy for 2 electrolitic capasitors that are bulging on the top. They will be your culpirts. I believe they will be 25v 2500uf. But don't hold me to it.
Hope this helps,

Called Danby customer service. Requested repleacement part of lower fan unit. Located at bottom right on back of unit. Part was $6.68 plus shipping. Less than $10 total. At my door in 3 days. Plug and play piece that was easy to change. A very cheap fix and I hate to think what a service call would have been. Danby ph # is 800-263-2629.,

Fan not working

some fan motors have a start capasitor, some have a run capasitor and some have both. if you take out the capasitors (normally in the junction box) take note of which wires go where and head to a refrigeration spare parts wholesalers they should be able to give you the right ones then replace them. this shouldnt cost any more than $20 if that doesnt work you will need to replace the motor.
