I have a BSNL boardband connection, can you tell me how can I configured?

The internet connection that you use doesn't matter with WinFax, since WinFax requires a fax modem to send and receive faxes. You cannotuse your broadband modem to send receive faxes with WinFax PRO. http://www.getfaxing.com/forums

My outgoing faxes are not transmitting automatically, they are staying in the out box. I have had this progtamme for years anf this has never happened before

this happens when your fax modem has changed, or the fax modem driver name has changed in windows. This usually requires you to reconfigure the modem in WinFax. www.getfaxing.com/winfax

One line two Devices

WinFax will support two modems, but I believe only one ISDN device. So, you can't use both ISDN and analog fax modem at the same time.

Winfax Pro on Xp - Update to Vista - Winfax data viewer in Vista?

Try FaxTalkPro. It imports WinfaxPro phonebooks and files, and the interface is very similar to WinfaxPro. The link to the trial version is:

How I get the incoming faxes to stay in the computer(not printer)

Unplug your All-In-One Fax printer if it is connected in the same line as WinFax, or disconnect the telephone line. Otherwise, your All-In-One is receiving the fax , not WinFax.

What modem do you choose in step 2 when setting up winfax pro with your cell phone as a modem

If WinFax is asking you to select a type, its probably because it didn't detect a fax modem.

Make sure your modem works in Windows first If you can dial out of your computer using your cell phone using Windows, and your modem supports fax class 1 / 2 / 2.0 , then it MAY work.

I can't send to certain fax machines with WinFax Pro

Yes, some modems might have problems with Service Pack 3. You might need to update the Windows modem drivers.

Alternatively, there might be problems with the settings in WinFax for your specific modem.

You'll need to post more information on the fax modem you are using.

Winfax pro suddenly faxing to wrong number

you have some options, so choose one.
  1. remove your fax
  2. configure your fax to answer later (maybe after ringing 10 times) and configure the winfax to answer before (something like ringing 5 times or less)
the problem here is that the fax answer and start receiving the fax and the winfax receive the fax signal at same time. check the winfax maybe you have the half part that the fax modem not has printed stored in winfax, maybe.

as I said, your better choice is removing the fax modem. even configuring like I said before, maybe the two continue to try to receive the fax at same time.

hope it helps.
