Question about Sunbeam Classic 3964 Iron with Auto Shut-off
My iron is about 3 months old and all of a sudden it no longer
steams. I go through the proper procedure as I have in the past
and the water just sits in the well and doesn't produce steam.
The iron does get hot. I was thinking of throwing it away.
If you are using tap water then the hardness of the water could cause the problem. You can usually fix this buy running vinegar water through the iron once or twice like you would a coffee pot.
If you have been using distilled water then you probably need to replace the iron.
