Re-install a program from the trash bin

I was advised to remove my spy ware so another problem could be fixed. I sent my spy ware to the trash bin. That problem has been resolved. How do I re-install my spy ware from the trash bin?

Hullo there
if you just deleted the spyware just restore it from your trash bin but if you uninstalled it then you will have to reinstall it using either your software cd or its executable file.

The Best Free PC Security

Free PC Security: OS Microsoft Windows 2,000, XP, 2003, Vista, 7

These are the best free security programs that I have found that actually do get rid of mal-ware, spy-ware, viruses, and worms for free. If your security program is not protecting your system very well, or it is an older paid for version that is now out of date and will not update any longer unless you purchase the new version, then you might do well to download and install these very powerful and efficient security programs.

You should only have one anti-virus/anti-spy-ware program installed and running on your PC or a conflict can occur, besides the fact that there would be an un-necessary use of the system resources. If you remove your old security program be sure to remove it from the add and remove programs in the control panel (some security programs have to be disabled before they can be removed). Also mal-ware is not the same as viruses, spy-ware, or worms. Malwarebytes will not remove any viruses, spy-ware, or worms, and AVG will not remove any mal-ware either.

AVG-Free Edition will automatically update itself and run security scans, it can be set from the AVG control panel in tools, advanced settings, schedules. You should set up the schedule so that it will update and scan at a time when the PC is not in use (usually during the middle of the night).

Also be sure that the Microsoft auto-update is not scheduled to run at the same time that you scheduled AVG to update or run a scan, if it is then change the Microsoft auto-update settings to something that will not run at the same time that AVG runs, for example (evryday 9:00 a.m., every Sunday 9:00 a.m., etc.). You can change the Microsoft auto-update settings in control panel, auto-updates.

Malwarebytes is the best free anti mal-ware program that I have found, the free edition will not auto-update or auto-scan and these functions must be manually done, but that is trivial compared to the protection that this program provides. After Malwarebytes has been installed, update it from the update tab and then check for any updates, after any updates then run a scan from the scanner tab, and then select a Full scan for the first time.

If you are using Vista right click on Malwrebytes and select Run As Administrator.

To fully protect your PC, Malwarebytes should be ran anytime that you close your web browser and are done using the internet, you should run a quick scan and if any malware is found then you should also run a full scan to be sure that the malware has been completely purged from your entire PC.

You can also protect your PC from known rogue web sites by downloading and installing SpywareBlaster, it does not scan for anything, and it does not remove anything, SpywareBlaster will prevent your internet explorer from connecting to known restricted, harmful, or rogue web sites for an added layer of protection.

Download AVG-Free Edition from here;

Download Malwarebytes from here;

Download SpywareBlaster from here;

These security programs will do a very good job at protecting your PC from internet threats. I used to have to fight these threats all the time to get rid of them, on either friends or family if not my own PC, but ever since I have installed these three programs on my system, and that of all my friends and family, it has actually become quite boring and I almost miss the battles.

How to stop when i use the scroll bar the page from fluttering

Check to see if you have correct graphics driver installed- if you do its because your processor is slow OR your graphics card sucks. IF you are using an on-board graphics card (built into motherboard) you might consider upgrading it to a add-on graphics card.

How much RAM do you have? anything less than 1GB should be upgraded to atleast 1GB total RAM.

Last you also should run a general clean and remove ad/ware & spy/ware as well as go over start up programs that run in background- minimize the overhead your computer needs to just run to improve overall speed. (less programs running in background)

Windows waring message, warning syware decteteted on my computer. it says to install spy ware but i have alreredy have and it will not go off the montor. what to do???

The program that it is telling you to install is the actual spyware, do not allow it to install.
Go to www.malwarebytes.org and download Malwarebytes, this is a free utility for fighting that sort of thing and should be able to get rid of it for you.

Spy sweeper reintalled 3 times and does not work

download spybot search and destroy and run this plus download and install avg 8 it's free and run both programs offline meaning not connected to the net and once done you may try and run spy-sweeper again.

If all fails try another copy from web it may have come down corrupted.

If all is well then happy surfing but if the new copy is the same then hunt in the registry for all keys belonging to spy sweeper once you have removed it from your computer also go-to program files directory and find the folder that belongs to spy sweeper and delete folder as most of un-installers don't remove the folder to program and try installing again and if all fails then then other thing I can suggest is move all your files to a safe place and redo your operating system from scratch but after you have installed os, install spy sweeper first then any other security software before you go to net.

hope this is helpful

Acer aspire (ast180-ed400a) Keeps freezing.Have to manualy shut off computer.

Go to http://www.download .com and look for a freeware version of a drive cleaner/registry cleaner. Try to find one that will remove spy ware and other attacks like worms, trojans etc.
You may have to download two different programs to completely clean your computer.
Also try getting ram memory recovery/defragment program, that is if you don't have more than 512 mb of ram memory.

Hard to understand what the problem is but will try.

run anti virus and anti spy ware programs

remove any programs you have installed just prior to the problem occurring.

remove any new peripherals you have connected,
if you are using a mouse make sure to disable the touch pad.

remove clean and re-insert ram chips,

if more than one ,

try one at a time ,as one may have a problem and need replacing.

that's a start,need more help just ask

good luck
