I have a lexmark X1185. I rencently had work done on my laptop. my printer needs to be reinstalled back on laptop. lower left under drivers and downloads.. click printer drivers and software...in the search by model box type.. lexmark x1185 ..... download. if you need a manual you can download it under publications.

You will need to disable any virus protection and spyware protection. You can leave the firewall up.(unless it doesn't work. try it with the firewall off.)
Does the printer work on another machine? Does another printer work on your laptop.
