Question about Goodman CLQ36AR49 Air Conditioner
Hi, our goodman split system reverse cycle a/c is not working. When I turn it on, it just blows fan air, and when I try to press mode on the remote, it beeps but the mode on the a/c doesn't change. There is a blinking light next to the "drop" symbol.
I'm not sure if it is the correct model
Try replacing the batteries first. The blinking may be the battery indicator.
The fact that it blows air when you turn the thermostat to cool tells me that the thermostat is probably working. The problem is most likely outside at the condensing unit. There are lots of potential problems that could be found out there. Sounds like you will need a technician.
