Question about LaCie Bigger Disk (300874) 1 GB Hard Drive
Yes another person with the same problem can you help we have tried almost everything at this point we work on macs
The Hard Disk size is too large for the Mac OS to recognize is my first guess. The Answer is to use a Bootup CD to partition your drive into smaller sizes, such as two 500MB partitions and then format them. The LaCie software may allow you to do this. You may have to connect it to a friends PC if they are techs or gurus. They will have software to do this and even format it for a Mac. It should be recognized then.
