Using server 2003 now my dvd won't play dvd without flickering, this is on a Xompaq Evo n800c

i guess the drivers u installed had some corrupted files. try downloading form http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/radeon-prer300-xp.aspx

Or go to bottom right screen, find internet icon, right-click on it and then choose, repair connection

First instinct would tell me that your LCD has gone bad. A refurbished replacement LCD should run around $300-$325 give or take.

you need to configure your Internet Protocol (IP) that synchronous the network. if you using WIFI you may need encryption code from your network provider.. beware on installing driver, it comes crashing in your machine.

It depends, do you have wireless capabilities on you modem or router, if you do yoy have a choice of wireless adapters. Either usb or pcmcia. You'll want one that is easy to hook up.

Test new HDD in another laptop or else. Make sure it's not DOA.

Try setting your resolution to 1400x1050, or the max that is available.
Also, use only 60Hz.
Use the native resolution of the screen, otherwise the laptop will interpolate pixels and make text look fuzzy.

the mouse is freezing because, you have either too many programmes running at start up, conflicting drivers, slow start up anti virus programmes, or you may have a virus or trojan/spyware programme running in the background. The shut down could be a processor overheating problem, so check all your vents and fans for clogged up dust and ensure your pc is well ventillated.
