Just get an adapter harness. they are only about $10.00, and will plug into your factory wiring, just like the stock radio did, and then the other end plugs into your new radio. Skoche (sp!) is the major manufactuer fof these (WalMArt caries the in car audio), also ebay.

I am not talking about a dvd player. It is my car cd player

you have been having problems with this"good stereo installed by the dealer" for 127 days now,the problem is the cd player,if you wouldve taken it back about 100 days ago they wouldve switched it out for you,now you are stuck with a screwed up cd player that doesnt work properly, spend the time and money on a new cd player, have someone else install it.

How and where do I install an xplod 10 cd changer in a 2008 victory vision tour and how difficult is it?

Not worth the extra weight or the time it takes and the space it takes up..why not go for a USB MP3 player ? cheap as chips and easy to fit and hold 5000 times more music

Bmw 2006 5 series touring multi cd player problems

I had the same problem with an installed CD player. 3 choices. 1: disconnect the plug on the back of the unit to stop the power drain. 2: Install a battery kill switch to turn off the batteries connection to the circuit and stop the power drain. 3: find the fuse for that cd player and pull it out!
If all that fails than it's not your cd player!

How 2 remove d radio from 2000 corolla to install a cd player

you will ned some accessories to put it in properly.
1. 99-3413 metra install braket. will ease the mounting.
2. 70-1761 metra wire kit will allow you to fly through the hookup.
you will be able to get these parts at your local stereo install shop.

when you purchase the mounting kit the instructions on how to remove and reinstall your cd player will be in the instructions. illistrations and all.

Led lights do not work on radio/cd player. no station/time displ

Work in car audio for a living. dodge caravan's are notorious for having there cd player's **** out. if the led display is out the built in reducers for the display power supply are more then likely shot. head to a junk yard and pull one out if you want to keep it stock :)
can prob get it from them for about 20 buck's and it will plug right in were the old one did. or you can go after market head unit (125-900$ at any electronic's store) buy a harness (about 18$) and a mounting kit (25$) for the easyist install :)
hope this helped

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.

Cd in car player will NOT eject -any ideas ??

The CD players in this model are prone to failure, best thing you can do is to get another aftermaket unit installed and ask the installer to remove your strip your old unit down to retrieve the CD's. BridgeFoley, does the radio work on your one? If not, does it just show CODE or ERR on the screen? This indicates that the security code needs to be put in, always needed after battery replacement. You can get the code from a ford dealer, but they may need to remove the stereo and obtain a serial number to find the code. If the radio works but the cd player doesn't, then my advice is the same as for jaydawg13.
Hope this helps, Mark
