i am having problem with vista compatability while connecting through HSP 56 modem driver. Please solve my problem

The problem is: In the Hardware Aadministrator the dispositive no have problem y make the proof of modem but there is no problem, this is when I try to connect to the internet, I presume that is problem with the drivers. But the way the modem was right, the problem came when I formated pc cause virus, I make a copy of all the drivers but the modem´s don´t function.
