I want to know how to set up a Google account for this computer.

Hi, you should just need to go to google.com and create an account. You'll need a phone for verification in most cases for new accounts that get created on google's site.

Replacing a mother board for gateway 506gr

make sure you install both connectors (8 pin and 4 pin) also make sure you didn't accidently flip the on/off switch on the actual power supply to off while you were working on it.

Driver will not boot up when i try to power it on.

Hi have you check the AC source to see if there is current flowing in from the outlet, if yes, try change the power cable that connects your GT5662 Desktop PC to AC outlet.

If it did not still power on, i think the mother board is bad, try change the mother board.

Compliments and wish you best of luck

Signal to monitor goes in and out, mostly out

Hopefully, it is just the on board video that has gone bad, and not the motherboard. When you install a video card on a PC, that has on board or integrated video, you will need to access the BIOS screen on start up and disable the on board video. That way the video signal will come from the new video card and not the on board video.

I hope this helps,

Eric

Battery in a gateway gt5404

The battery on a desktop computer is on the mother board. It looks like a large watch battery. Very inexpensive and easy to change. But make sure all power is disconnected before touching *********** board and do not use and sharp object to try to pry the battery out.

Gateway 505gr motherboard replacement

not powering up does not mean the mother board is bad , the power supply going bad is more likely to be the problem . But your tower is considered to be a mini tower ive got the same one that I replaced the mother board on . dont mess up and get the wrong size board , it will not fit!
