I only have the two cable/antenna options. I need to be able to stream media from a camera for live streaming events and thought this had the capabilities to take care of that, but I can't find the setup for the Composite lines. Is it possible these are only output lines?

In QuickPlay, AV input is under media (the Icon that shows headphones, movie reel, and photos), not under TV (Icon of monitor). Why they put it there, I have no idea, but that's where I found it. BTW, I'm running QuickPlay 3.7 v.6112

I have the same problem. No matter what I hook up to the audio/video input, I can never get it to work. When I try to rescan for new channels the gaming systems show up as a cable box & it will not allow me to set it up because of this.

I have a problem with hiss coming from the sound bar (ZBase 550 HSD) when using my digital cable box. It is not an issue with PS3 etc. I have the sound on the cable box turned to max, but I still hear a...

Hello ZVOX Owner,
The hiss you hear is generated by the analog audio output of the cable box. The best way to eliminate this hiss to use the digital output of the cable box. The preferred way to do this is to connect the digital audio output of both your cable box and your PS3 to the your TV (I presume your TV has two digital audio inputs.)
Your TV has a digital audio output. You should connect the digital audio output of your TV to the digital input of the ZVOX.
This should reduce or eliminate the hiss and provide convenient video source selection via the TV.

What type of cable do I use to connect the Home Entertainment System. I have an HD tv with a cable supplied HD box. Do I connect the HES to the tv or the cable HD box? Which "wire" do I...

if your HES has a HDMI input and output run 1 HDMI cable from the cable box to the HES then another from the HES to the TV.

If the HES does not have HDMI in then run the HDMI from the cable box to the TV
and an Optical digital audio cable from the cable box to the HES

I have no TV output!

This will only work with a dvd player, PS3, XBOX 360, and other gaming consoles

You need:
- 3 AV Splitters (2 Female 1 Male sides cord)
- 1 Double sided Video and Audio Cables (Red, white, yellow cables)

Connect your consoles Video and Audio cables to the female sides of the splitters, next attach the Video and audio cables you bought to the splitters as well.
Now plug in the video/audio cables you bought into your TV.
If you did this everything properly this should work.

Sorry if this didnt help you

Audio problem

I Don't know if this is the case with THIS card or not. But when I had an ATI All in Wonder card I had to run a patch cable from the card to an audio input on my soundcard.

Hopefully this helps you.

Avermedia Tech AVerMedia QuickPlay

Unfortunately the Avermedia Quickplay doesn't support audio. If you want the matching audio too, you'll have to either use your computer's native audio (if it's in the same room), or hook it up to your TV with a separate cable.
