Question about AT&T 5840 5.8GHz Speakerphone/Answering/Caller ID Answering Machine
We like the AT&T 5840 5.8GHz, but I can't find the instruction book and there are features we want to turn off---specifically, we don't want to use the answering machine and we don't want the system to try to let people leave messages. Right now, the phone will ring 10 times and then a message will come on:"Please enter your remote access code".How do we get rid of this message? We have Caller ID w/ name and want people to be able to let the phone ring indefinitely w/o any messages coming on. How do we get rid of the message and complete deactivate the answering machine feature? email: firstname.lastname@example.org

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
