Frigidaire washer/dryer combo

I have a Frigidaire model FLGB43RGS2 Serial XE21902716 and has stopped pumping water out. I can hear the pump trying to work. I'm thinking it may be clogged. How do I remove the panels to get to the pump?
Thank you

what is the easiest way to remove the clamps from these hoses? My washer is not draining completely out. When the drain hose in the back is lowered beloew the drain valve water does come out. The pump is running but does not bring the water out.

For that model you should just be going through the front. There are 2 phillips screws at the bottom of the front panel. After you remove those, you will need to slide the front panel down. (sometimes insreting a large flat head screw driver between the top washer panel and the front washer panel will help ease it off). The pump on this one is one of the easier one's to clean. Use a shop vacume or just bail the water out by hand to remove as much as possible. Follow the large black hose running down from your tub to the white plastic looking peice. That is your pump. The are 2 5/16 screws holding it down. Remove these to make your work easier and cleaner. Also remove the connector/ wires that plug into the side of the pump. Once removed raise your pump up and slide a large, flat container underneath. Squeeze the clamp on the hose and slide it further back up the hose. Now, SLOWLY start working the hose off in a rocking motion. Just a little pressure here. Now as it strats to work off, the rest of the water will start to come out. Drain it a little at a time. Work the hose back on if you have to go empty your container. Once all of the water has been removed, pull the hose the rest of the way off. Do you see anything blocking it? No? Remove the hose coming back out of the pump as well. Still nothing? Try removing the hose that goes between the tub and the pump up by the tub this time. Nothing yet? Try plugging the pump back in and setting it to a spin/ drain cycle. (make sure you are not on the part of the cycle that adds water or there will be a mess) Once you are on the spin/ drain cycle, look into the pump. Is the paddle wheel looking piece inside moving? If it is not, and there are no forign objects in there, it may be time to replace the pump itself.

How do you get the water to drain in the Malber WD100 washer/dryer combo?

Hi. I''m assuming you are referring to a WD1000.
To initiate the drain cycle: Rotate far right knob CLOCKWISE to Position 4. It may take 30-45 seconds to recognize the knob's new position, but then it will begin an 11 minute Slow Tumble/Pump Out cycle. During this cycle you'll see the internal drum slowly rotate CW for 60 seconds, pause, then rotate CCW for 5 secs - then repeat. All this time the pump will run and you'll hear water running down the drain. When you hear no more water you can rotate same knob to "straight up", and stop the machine. To turn power off, press the rightmost button.

My stackable washer smells burnt and it does not cycle it tryies but then it spells like it is burning so i turned it off.

Hello serratosal - Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may have a broken belt or a faulty control board. Often when the belt is damaged, the unit will try to spin but it causes it to burn and eventually blow the control board. I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.

Frigidaire Washer/Dryer Combo FEX831CS0 won't work

Hello Laura Clark - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Since it is such a complex unit, I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately

Frigidaire model fex831fs4 will not drain or spin

My problem was a little different but I want to post this for others that might experience the same.

My Frigidaire Washer/Dryer Stack Combo Model FEX831FS4 was not draining and had a humming/buzzing noise when it got to drain/rinse cycle. This is usually and probably caused by a small sock or thin or small underwear that got sucked out the top and into the drain hose. I have no idea why they did not design this with a rubber flap like most washers to protect from items going up and out but here's how you fix it.

IF your unit is having this issue STOP and don't try runnin drain/rinse cylces anymore or you may damage the water pump and have to buy a new one. I think I damaged mine from trying to drain the water so many times with a sock clogged in there... but so far it is working anyway, just with a buzzing noise.

You need to TAKE OFF the FRONT COVER and REMOVE the ITEMS FROM the HOSE leading to the WATER PUMP. The water pump is on the bottom front left and theres only TWO SCREWS to get off the FRONT COVER of the washer/dryer. They are on the bottom by the feet. Have someone tilt the unit backwards and unscrew them with a phillips head and then pull the front cover down and off. There is a rubber snap pin in the top center of the cover but it will come loose as you pull down.

In order to get at the water pump you do NOT need to pull the washer/dryer out, you can get at everything from the front. However it might be a wise decision to unplug the power since water will be draining everywhere.

First siphon out all the water in the tub, whatever you don't siphon will immediately coming rushing out once you remove the hose from the water pump.

I would UNPLUG the electrical connector on that water pump and tie it up out of the way because even if you siphoned the water there will still be water in the hoses and probably under the washer tub some.

Disconnect the hose that comes from the tub to the water pump. That's where I found a small children's sock clogging the pump. Dry off the water pump plug connector pins if they got wet (where you removed the plug from) and reconnect the electric connector.

We tried many times to run the drain cycle before taking the washer/dryer apart so your water pump might be shot as I think mine is. Now mine always makes a buzzing noise as if it's wore out from being worked with a sock blocking it's inner part. You might need to replace your water pump.

I have an affinity washer and dryer. The last loand did not complete its cycle. It is partially full of water, but not enough to seap out. Itmakes a buzzing sound and will not spin. It is not the type of...

It sounds like the drain pump has stopped. If it still has water in it and you turn it on (in the spin only cycle) the drain pump should be running and you sould be hearing the water drain. The washer will not spin until the water is out. Depending on how handy you are determines whether you can access the drain pump and remove the obstrustion. There is also a trap to catch debries from going into the pump. This could be plugged, but normally you don't hear a buzz. You hear the drain pump working but no water going out. Good luck
