Not sure what you are asking..some shredders do not have one some do..if it comes with one contact a dealer and order one..if not equipped use a waste basket or whatever to catch the paper..good luck..
Sounds like either the ON/OFF switch is defective( can be checked with a multimeter.) OR...the PCB inside may be defective. Once you determine which one you can contact ROYAL at 1-800-524-0799 for parts assistance.
You can check/clean the eye's in the paper "throat"...if that dosn't fix it then you possibly have defective pcb...you can call Royal at 1-800-524-0799 for parts assistance.
