Question about Toshiba TZ55V61 55" Rear Projection Television
I think your problem is actually simple enough, but may require proffessional service, depending on your fundamental skills with electronics. It sounds most likely that your power supply is bad. This would explain why this happens at the begginning and not later on. You see, once the transisters are warmed up, it is not so demanding on thepower supply. You may want to have it proffessionaly done, which may cost about 300-400 dollars. This is a good tv set, so it may be worth it to you, but I would suggest you look around at replacement costs and determine if you want to gamble with it. Good luck.
