Check in settings, notifications if Viber is allowed to send notifications. Also, check Viber settings for that too.
Besides that, 95% of android phone have this problem with Viber simply because Viber isnt really fully optimised unlike the IOS version.

I dont use Viber myself, I can only suggest few things:
*check online to ensure your tablet is supported by Viber ( compatible to run that Apps) I know some phone wont work with the apps.
* check your viber to see your setting has "anyone" or "contacts only" this latter one means you can not receive call from people that is not on your phone book listing.
* try to see your volume is on inside the device setting (the audio).

Are you using Sprint? They stink! I often do not hear the ring tones and only the message tones after they have called.

try checking incall volume , check settings on viber for silentmode? try reinstall

Does your iphone vibrate when you toggle the vibrate switch?

you have to go into settings and change them from silent (meeting) mode .

"Tapping" the green answer button will not work. You have to touch and drag the button all the way to the right to answer a call.

You should try to put it on only ring cause some phones have issues simular to yours.
