I cannot get the sound to work between computer and speaker. Have looked at and tried all software options. Is there something else i can do please

Hi sallianne!

Let me help you with your concern.

STEP 1: Check if the sound card is being detected by clicking on the Start button, then select Run, and type in "devmgmt.msc".

STEP 2: Check the "Sound, Video and Game Controllers" if there are bangs on the devices or if the Sound Card is being detected.

STEP 3: We are trying to figure out if the sound card is being detected or not, because if its detected by your system and there are bangs you need to install the driver for your sound card. Or if its not detected, you might try unplugging the sound card and plugging it back to the computer but if that still doesnt work, you need to replace the sound card.

Sound problem

First of all when you installed the sound card and turned on your pc did your operating system detect the sound card. If it did then you would need to install the software driver. In some cases the operating system will have it built it and configure it on its own. If you installed the software and it you still got no sound, Go to device manager and find the sound card. If its there, right click and update driver. If is still does not do it then right click and remove driver. Restart your computer and it should detect your card and then reinstall software. now if it still does not work or detect your card then possibility bad sound card. Hope thats helpfull to you.
