Trying to connect to xbox live. It says to change my MTU setting to 1364 or higher.Ima computer idiot. tried admin blank password that didn't work please help

User is blank (left empty), admin is the password (when the Linksys is in default factory condition). Find MTU and change to manual and set to 1500 for broadband. Also, according to linksys, uPNP may not be compatible, so you may want to turn that off. Go to this link on Linksys to get a step-by-step setup for linksys routers and Xbox live. Also, pay special attention to section ii about upgrading your firmware to the latest version.
