HI, I installed random softwares into my samsung g600. They all installed well but when i went on the folder called Games and More (Where all games and softwares are stored) my phone reboots automatically. I have tried it three or four times but it reboots when i go on the GAMES AND MORE folder and try to open it. (It was working perfectly before the installation of the softwares) I am worried that it got some virus in it. Pls help me out.

Just downloaded this
and installed a dozen random games on my Samsung S8000 Jet Ultra and they all
work perfectly. This is how I done it; it's a bit long winded until you get used
to the steps, but worth it: Download and Run TKFileExplorer. If you have Samsung
New PC Studio (or whatever software your phone uses) install it too. Connect
your phone to your PC and let it open the Samsung Software. Open TKFileExplorer
and go to Settings then choose COM. On PORT, click the drop down menu and choose
the port that is visible (something like port 5/port 6). Close Down your Samsung
Software. In TKFileExplore click on FILE and CONNECT. Your phone should appear
in the bottom left window. On the bottom left half of TKFileExplorer, browse
through these folders "User/Mass/Java/Games". Now that you are in games, create
a new folder in the large window on the bottom right. Name it after what you are
going to install (for example, Google Maps, Gmail, Doom, etc). Now you will need
to place the .jar & .jad files of the program you will be installing into
the folder you have just created. On the top left window of TKFileExplorer,
browse through to where you saved the files you want to install. The .jar &
.jad files should be in the top right screen; select them both. Now right click
and choose “Download”. Both files will transfer to your new folder. Open up your
dial pad on your phone and enter the following, *#5239870*#. Choose INTERNALS
and enter the following, *#7092463*# Now scroll down and choose Storage
Settings. Then Update Java DB, followed by Update Apps Database. Now you are
finished. On your phone go to the Games folder and they should be there waiting
for you. I repeat; this works for the S8000. The numbers above may be different
for other Samsung phones. Hope this helps.
Disconnec the phone from the PC.
insert the Disc and run and install the Samsung PC Studio on the PC.
Now reboot the PC.
Connect the phone to PC via the USB cable.
And the PC should say SGH G600 connected.
The with the help of file manager on the Samsung PC Studio, xfer the pics to whatever folder you want.
.here is the definitive fix for the "show my number syndrome" is a known fault with the Samsung G600 software. What
you need to do is, borrow another sim card for the provider you are
with and put it in the handset, run through the welcome sequence, save
and switch off. Then put your own sim card into the handset and
repeat the welcome procedure, the show my number will now be set on
default.. Ths is the only fix at present until Samsung release a newer software with the problem resolved.hope this helps pls appreciate by rating this as fixyaaa thanks and Godbless
1-Turn on the phone without sim card . 2-Pull off the battery cover and insert any non-accepted sim card (without turning off the handset) 3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu . 4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# 5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000# 6-Enjoy G600 unlocked
The Samsung software does not work properly with the G600 (take note Samsung) On your phone go to: Settings>phone settings>USB settings>Ask on connection. exit phone and when you plug in your usb it will ask what connection type, choose Mass Storage and it will appear on My Computer as a portable drive, you can drag and drop to folders. You may have to install the USB drivers from the disc or site, but it may work without.
What you have to do to put files on your computer or take them from your computer onto your phone is: go onto settings, onto phone settings, onto USB settings and chage it to either mass storage (if you want to put pictures, music and videos on) or media player (to just transfer music). Then plug in the USB cable that came with your phone into your computer/laptop and follow the instructions from there. NOTE: This only works with the Sampsung G600
