Before you go in, have you removed the top portion of the dispenser? You can do that while the lid is still in place. If so, here's how to get in. Take a small flat head screw driver or putty knife. Put a thin peice of cloth over it so as to not mar the finnish on your machine. Using a flash light look between where the top panel and the front panel meet. There will be two flat green peices of metal. Using your putty knife or screw driver, push on these clips towards the rear of the machine while lifting up on the top portion. Once you get the two clips off, you'll be in. For a bleach dispensing problem, I would remove the hose coming off the bleach dispenser side, the white plastic "T" it goes into and the other black hose that goes out to the tub. You could have build up or debris in one or all of them preventing your bleach dispenser. While you have them off, also check the nozzle off the bleach dispenser itself. it too may have a restriction.

Kenmore calypso washer bleach

I would take the bleach hose off and verify it is not obstructed, if that doesn't look bad then the system that calls for bleach my be faulty, but I would check for obstructions first in the hose first.

Water dumps on clothes when opening the lid.

It sounds like the seal is loose (worn out) or damaged in any case....not sealing. Calypso's splash a lot and when bleach is used regularly they corrode quickly. To replace the seal you have to get a whole inner lid assy. I also advise not using bleach or at least not regularly.

Maytag top loader slight leak from bottom left corner

Thank you for responding. Yes we fixed the problem. After taking off the front cover noticed the hose from the liquid bleach dispenser (which I never use) was not connected. Evidently when using the extra large load a little water would splash into the bleach dispenser, hence the small amount at bottom front left corner where dispenser is located. So simple! Glad I didn't pay for someone to attach the hose. Thanks again for your timely response. Lynn

Kenmore/Sears 417.43142200 bleach dispenser not dispensing

Before you do anything, make sure that the plastic part in the bleach dispenser container is pushed in. Fill with bleach to the "max" line, written on the plastic part. Start the wash cycle and make sure that water goes into the bleach dispenser. Once water flows into the dispenser, the bleach/water mixture rises and should automatically dispense into the washer. We had this same problem. We removed the dispenser unit and took it to the sink. We then filled it with water and it started coming out from the bottom automatically. So sort of suction is caused from the amount of water and it starts to flow. Basically, you aren't adding enough bleach into the dispenser if the water flows into it as the wash cycle runs.

Kenmore front load washer will not dispense fabric softner

I've had this same problem and solved it by removing the detergent/bleach/softener dispenser drawer from the machine and seriously cleaning out all of the "gunk" from the drawer and from inside the drawer area on washer. Sometimes I have had to repeat the cleaning and then the fabric softener begins dispensing again. I have model # 417.43042200 but it may work on all the Kenmore front loading washers.
