We use Gmail synced with Outlook at the office. Whenever I send an email from Outlook it shows twice in my sent box and delivers twice to my Blackberry. I can't figure out how to get it to show/deliver just once.
I'm not using Outlook Express. I am using Outlook 2007. The set up is totally different. I don't have a Mail or Advanced tab...I'm not using Outlook Express. I am using Outlook 2007. The set up is totally different. I don't have a Mail or Advanced tab...

Your gmail wil not show if it's sent via gmail you will need to set up your gmail in you mail settings on your iPad that way you can send and read your mail using your iPad mail app you will find your mail in your settings hope this helps
ahhhh ok you want to access your Sent mail folder and contacts which you used when you used Outlook Web Access(OWA) "outlook through web mail" to connect to your Office Exchange mail server
in order to get this you have to configure Outlook 2007 to connect to exchange server. Do the following steps
if you are running outlook close it as you can not configure exchange accounts when it is running
if you are running vista, xp or 7 click on the start menu and right click on email and go to properties
click on email accounts
select "view or change existing accounts" click next
click on any of the previously configured accounts and remove them
click add
select microsoft exchange server click next
type name of the exchange server (you must get this from your administrator) and type in your username (name which you used to use through web mail) click on next
click on finish
open outlook 2007 and you should see all your previous contacts and sent items
You can sync apple ipad with outlook, there are different ways to do this, I will show you way where you can sync between your Google calendar outlook and your ipad.
Please follow the next steps.
* If you don't have a Google calendar then you can create one here http://www.google.com/calendar/ * Now you'll have to download the Google Calendar Sync, http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955 * Follow Google instructions on How to sync Google calendar with outlook, you'll have to insert your email and some other steps that are details at the link above. * Now it's the ipad turn, from SETTINGS on your iPad select mail then contacts and calendars now select the add account then select Microsoft exchange * Still with the ipad, from within the Microsoft exchange enter your gmail/email address, leave the domain field empty. * Enter your password into the screen. Select next from the upper right corner. A message saying “Unable to Verify Certificate” will come up, Click accept. * A new window, populate the server field with “m.google.com" click next. A new window will ask you to select what will be synchronized from the Exchange server, make your selections and select done.
That's about it now your ipad is synced with outlook through your google calendar.
Hope this will help you with your problem syncing ipad with outlook
Do you have Outlook set up to work with a specific email account? The details of how to make Outlook send mail vary depending on which kind of email you are using (Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc.). You can find instructions for making Outlook 2007 work with many of the common types of email at:
If this doesn't help, you should post information on the kind of email service you are using. Specifically, who is the email provider (Comcast, Verizon, etc.)
If you want to receive web-based email that works with outlook then sign up for gmail. They offer free web-based email that will sync up with outlook. :) yahoo and others are not free unless you pay them.
Be sure that only one instance of Outlook is running.
You can verify this by openning the tasks manager and ordering process alphabetically.
Kill all redondant Outlook processes.
MS Office Outlook 2003 will only show those e-mails in the sent items folder that were sent using the e-mail client application (i.e. MS Office Outlook 2003).
Any messages sent from the server itself wil not display.
It is possible that the mail you sent just simply has not arrived to its location just yet. It is also possible that your email could have been filtered, or thrown in the spam folder for whatever reason.
Most of the time, if Outlook says it was sent, then it was more than likely sent, as it watches the connections to the servers... Now we just have to find it.
If you can, have the intended recipient of your email check the spam/junk mail folder. Also, if you are connecting to a webmail server such as Gmail through outlook, and you are (for example) sending your email to someone that is using Yahoo mail... Sometimes it may take a moment to go through all the way, though it should not take TOO long.
I hope that this has helped to solve your problem, good luck!
and how would I check that and delete the second account if there is one?
there is only 1 account listed
