I cannot enter the pin code to unlock the blackberry.

Don't worry, try this step to insert your Blackberry Curve 8310 Unlock Code :

1 - Switch on your Blackberry Curve 8310 without any Sim card,
2 - Go to Options,
3 - Select Advanced Options,
4 - Select SIM Card,
5 - Hold the ALT Key while typing in MEPE or MEPD or MEPPE or MEPPD ( not case sensitive ) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing ),
6 - You will then be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code". Type in the Unlock Code and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm,
7 - Your Blackberry Curve 8310 will now be unlocked.

If your phone still not unlocked, it means you have wrong blackberry unlock code. Don't try it again, and go to get new and correct unlock code.

Need to unlock a verizon blackberry 8310

There are plenty of services that charge to unlock just make sure that if that is the route you take that you pick a reputable one. The other option is to call Verizon directly. They will only unlock if you're going to be traveling abroad.

Call block options or software (free) for BB Curve 8330

Nope, the call blocks are handled by the switching hardware the cell provider uses. You can set your bb to block text messages, multimedia messages, pin messages, blackberry internet services, and enterprise email, but that's it.

Getting picture messages on blackberry

This is a Blackberry shortcoming. You can call your provider but they likely won't have any help for you. My wife and I found this solution:

When sending a message to your Blackberry, the sender can add your email (whichever you use on your Blackberry) in the recipient list. This will go through to your email account. It SHOULD not be treated as anything different than a normal photo message by the LG's service provider. You SHOULD call to confirm, but we found that it was the same cost.

My ringtone volume sounds too low for a blackberry curve. And my friends have the same phone and its louder!Im mad this phone is brand new!!

Just_Bobz is correct and incorrect at the same time...

Not all blackberry curves are set up the same nor do they all have the same "theme" (layout)

For instance the T-mobile Blackberry Curve (8120) has a different theme and therefore the sound option is not in the upper right hand corner like the Alltel Blackberry Curve (8330) default theme.

My suggestion is to find the volume control icon on your curve (or the volume themes as I like to call them). When you click on the speaker icon you will have the options for the different volume themes such as Loud, Vibrate, Quiet, Normal, Phone Only, and Off. Click on whichever theme you will be using on a regular basis to activate it.

** Another area where Just_Bobz is incorrect… just because you have put the volume theme on Loud does NOT mean that the phone is on its loudest possible sound setting!!

If you go back into the volume themes, all the way at the bottom there is an Advanced option.. If you click on Advanced, highlight which ever theme says active next to it and click your trackball to open it ... you will then have the option to change the option for any and all alerts on the phone (ie email, phone, mms, sms, bbm. ect.) Under each of the different options there is ANOTHER sound option for low, medium, high, ect. (and there is an in and out of holster setting

SOO..

Just because your volume theme is set to Loud.. does not mean that the phone is truly set to loud!!
