Question about Samsung S850 Digital Camera

My Camers shuts off automatically!?

Hi there,
I got a Samsung S850 8.1MP Camera last Christmas (Dec 2007-08) And I love it. But lately the last few months with a full battery charge it will turn off by itself after I would take 2-3 pictures. When I try to turn it back on, it shuts down again leaving the lens sticking out. What should I do?

I purchased a samsung ES70 compact digital camera last year and lately a black line has appeared across the bottom of the screen, could I get rid of it or would i have to purchase a new camera?

Hi,

If the line is only on the display and not also on the photos when you download them to the pc, then you only need to have the LCD display replaced. The screen should cost like ~$20 as you can see here: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/307874294-Replacement-Camera-LCD-Screen-display-for-Samsung-Digimax-S630-S730-S750-D75-NEW-Free-Shipping-wholesalers.html

I have the same problem, the batteries do not last. Just bought new high quality batteries and put them in. The camara is already showing low battery and turn's itself off (just after putting them in,...

this occurs in any device that uses battery/s in some cases a small short forms that drains the batts there is only two fixs have the fault found by a service tech and repaired ( expensive and very hard to find) or store the batts out of the camera untill its being used now if the batts are not lasting in the camera then its the batterys simple. always remember with units such as camers always always use rechargable batts they give a heck of a lot more power drive than shelff pre charged batts

Will sdhc 4gb work in this camers?

I know this answer maybe a little late but better than never!
I have the same camera and a 4gb SD card and no matter how I format it, (FAT, FAT32, NTFS) the camera will not accept it. 2gb looks like the largest it will take.

My camera will not work

try to put regular batteries in it to reset it and if it turn on shut it off and take out your SD card turn it back on and go to the menu screen and format it and then reset it, it should work after that if not all i can say to do is to send it in to sansung and have them fix it.

Can not get pictures to computer

I would suggest using a card reader. It saves on camera batteries and they download faster too.
