I had only filled a little over 2 gigs in my 30 gig Zune, and one day the player deleted all of my songs, pictures, and videos. But when I reconnected it to my computer, it said that it couldn't sync because all 30 gigs were full... even though there is absolutely nothing on my Zune
you should try calling a product hotline and hopefully get it fixed but if that doesn't work then your computer probobly has something wrong with it. otherwise, you zune is busted. hope this helps.

I got a first-gen Zune 30GB that had been sitting in the box untouched for a few years. I installed the software on my computer and plugged in the Zune with the supplied USB cord. The Zune logo shows up, as does the status bar, but when the bar goes completely to the end (the right), the Zune shuts off and an audible noice is heard. After a moment, the logo shows up again and this repeats, indefinitely without the Zune being recognized by the computer. When I uplug the Zune, nothing happens as the battery seems to be dead after such a long time in the box. I tried to restart the Zune, updated the driver on the computer and shut both down to try again and again, but this doesn't seem to helping. What should I do? Thanks -N
