SOURCE: Dell mouse: right click shows and scroll curser not spellcheck
Try a different mouse on it to see if it does the same thing. Your mouse might be failing on you. If it does the same thing with a different mouse then it might be the software problem or perhaps drivers. You can also try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your mouse. If your running windows 2000 or later version of windows you can uninstall in device manager and restart the computer with the mouse still connected and windows should reinstall drivers for the mouse automatically. Goodluck!

Use an alcohol pad on the scroll ball. roll it a bit, and it will work again.
SOURCE: dell touchpad problem
This problem is due to the latest driver present on the dell website. if you have tried to update your current touch pad driver then you will face this problem. To solve this uninstall the Synaptics driver which is currently installed in your system and then go to Dell folder present in your C: and install the Synaptics Touchpad driver present over there. restart the PC and your problem will be solved. I was having this problem which i fixed within 2 hrs yesterday.
