A generic work-around for most GE wall ranges / ovens... Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow the
oven to cool for one hour. Put the oven back into operation. If
the function error code repeats, disconnect the power to the
oven and call for service.

here's the manual for a GE Wall Oven, it covers 4 models, i hope one of em is yours.

good luck.

Do Not try to perform the below if: Oven is under warranty,You are not handy with a soldering gun, or Are afraid to do this.

The below solution applies only to my in-wall oven with F2 and F3 codes randomly, but presumably will work with other GE models.

I had the same trouble with a GE in-wall oven. The problem was on the electrical board behind the keypad. A pin that was soldered to the board, that was the input for the oven temp sensor, had cracked solder. So I re-soldered the pin and hopefully it will continue working.

Unplug the range, wait 30 seconds to 2 minutes, and plug it back in. That will usually solve this problem. it is common for the ge kitchen ranges.

but it wil be better if u tell me the model number and make

because many kinds of makes have the same error number with different problems

so please tell the model number and make

but generally F2 E0 code is attributed to a short keypad with the Electronic Range
Control (ERC). The recommended solution is to replace the ERC.

    if you
can give me the complete model number of your range (located along the
opening around the oven door or lower drawer assembly).

    The model
number includes a three-digit prefix. I would also need this to
    determine the manufacturer.

ERCs can be expensive on some models. I hope this helps you.

Well here's the details about those codes: in some other models
    F2 :-
    1. The oven temp has risen above 665F and the door is not locked or
    2. The temp has risen above 965F with the door locked
    1. Check oven temp in mode that failure occurred. Replace EOC (Electronic Oven Control) if above limits

    thank u for ur cooperation.

good luck for getting fixed soon

I tried to reset the time on my stove and it started beeping and flashing F2. why

The error code "F2" will be displayed along with a beeping sound if the ERC (Electronic Range Control) or "clock" senses a runaway heat condition during the "cook" or the "clean" modes. It could be caused by the oven temperature sensor, by the ERC or by the wire harness between the oven temperature sensor and the ERC. If the error code "F2" is displayed in the "cook" or "clean" modes only, then the problem is a bad oven temperature sensor or its wire harness. If the error code "F2" is displayed in the time of the day mode also, then most likely a problem is the bad ERC.To get the right replacement part just click on the link AppliancePartsPros,

After cooking my whirlpool Electric Range started to beep and shows EO F2. The range top is working ( and range top controls ) but the oven won't shut off and the controls are not working for the oven.

Hello,

Here is what my online service manual for the F2-EO error code says

F2 - E0 Shorted keypad (also called touch pad) 1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).
2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock)

I hope this helps

F2 and F3 code appearing along with annoying beeping

i think f3 error code has something to do with the temp probe maybe it is the problem. the temp probe is located if you open the door directly in the back wall. it looks like a prong. should read 1100ohms the f2 error code though usually has something to do with the keypad i would check all the connections maybe they are loose.

When we cook in the oven it says F2 every 10 mins.

This means that your oven temp sensor has failed. There is no way to fix the sensor. You have to replace. The f2 means that your oven has reached its heaeting limit and it shuts down for safety. Replace oven temp sensor and it wil fix it.

EO F2 code

F2 E0 code is attributed to a short keypad with the Electronic Range Control (ERC). The recommended solution is to replace the ERC. If you can post back with comments I can locate a part number for you if you can give me the complete model number of your range (located along the opening around the oven door or lower drawer assembly). The model number includes a three-digit prefix. I would also need this to determine the manufacturer. This way I can research to find a part number and price and see if this is a repair you would wish to pursue. ERCs can be expensive on some models. I hope this helps you.
