Question about Intel (RK80532PG0881M) Pentium 4, 3 GHz Processor
Opened the PC and find a soft black plastic device similar to a planter box.. 2.5 in X 3/8in X 3/8 in with a vert slot in one end. Why is it there and what is it for and where does it go. Tank You. Al
I'm just answering because I got a response to my question and sort'a playing/paying it forward. I don't really know answer, maybe it's an electrical insulation barrier, maybe thermal, maybe a blank of some kind to keep a slot clean. If the vertical slot matches something then that's probably it's place, but, of cause, why?
