The actual charge method and power adapters available can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and model to model. However, most MP3 players are charged by connecting them to the USB port on your computer using the supplied cord. Alternatively some MP3 players may have optional wall chargers or car chargers available which would enable you to keep the item charged when you don't have a computer available.
