My Samsung HCL473W Projection TV has a blue line curving upwards at the sides of the tv. I opened it and blew it out with compressed air but no luck. Is it a bulb? Any idea how to replace it. I'm quite proficient with electronics but no experience on TV's
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had it repaired by a local company just this year. $400. is this a part that I can buy and replace?
I'm thinking of pushing it into the lake behind my house...LOL

This set does not have a bulb. It is a tube type projection set that sounds like it has a convergence problem. Call a qualified tv repair company.
