This is an ink stick count error. First, use only xerox ink sticks that are intended for your printer. They have a proprietary shape that actuates sensors in the ink loader. Clear any broken or jammed ink sticks in the loader- in the case of the code given, it is magenta that is the problem. Reload the proper inksticks, then run the "clear isc fault" routine from the diagnostics menu. If this does not clear the problem, then you may have a faulty inkstick loader assy. Do not forget to allow the machine to cool for 30 min, or run the shutdown for moving routine before you move or tip the device to work on it. Spilling melted ink can ruin the printhead.

The onlty thing I can find close to this is.
Acording to the manual its a ink loader error like your loading the wrong type of ink like the puzzles pieces arent matching and hitting the sensor flags right. Yours by the 8 is referring to the black ink. Anyway go to troubleshooting on the control panel. then to service tools. when in service tools press and hold the up arrow while still pressing the up arrow press the down arrow. the display should say hidden menus. go to diagnostic mode press enter go to funtion menu. then go to clear ISC fault and enter. ISC=ink stick count fault. I hope that helps. Just to let you know Ive had nothing but problems with third party ink and once its in the system its hard to get out so I would watch what im doing with my expensive equipment

Error code in Phaser 8550 window. ?:07,010.43:1362

The exact explanation per xerox is " The Printhead is stuck in the tilted position, and is not able to tile forward to the print position, due to problems.

This is usually caused by broken printhead restraints, of the machine got shut off in the middle of warming up, and the printhead is stuck to the cap wipe assembly.

Regardless the machines covers will have to be taken off to go any further.

Xerox 8550 Error message 19,003.48:121016

19,003.48 Scale and offset voltage error too large. Something is wrong with the Electronics Module or Wave Amplifier.

that is pretty straight forward. More then likely the elsctronics module has failed. Wave amplifier is pretty unlikely.
If you do not have a maintenance agreement or under warranty, that is a very expensive module to replace.
Check @ 1-800-835-6100 to see if you are under warranty or have coverage.

Phaser 8550 cyan doesn't print

If you go to the Xerox.com site and click support and drivers. enter phaser 8550 and there is a printhead update you need to get, You have to fill out a form.
That may be your problem since there is no fault code.

Error code for 8550

Call Xerox, they have a problem with this code and the ink loader needs to be updated.
It has to do with the yellow sicks loading properly
