Question about Microwave Ovens
Will your credit card company provide documentation?
Will the store you bought it from help you by providing a duplicate?
Some manufacturers will let you sign an affidavit in lieu of a receipt. Also, some manufacturers simply use the serial number or date code to validate the warranty.
I would contact the dealer about a dupe receipt first, then contact the manufacturer to see if they allow an affidavit or use the serial or date code.
Your last resort might be to contact the credit card company.
