Question about Canon Pixma MP800 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I had my black ink cartridge refilled at Cartridgeworld and now the MP800 says there is no ink in the cartridge. It won't let me use the Menu button nor the scanner. Nothing works since it has the screen saying that the black cartridge is out of ink.
How can I get it to recognize the refilled cartridge? or alternatively, how can I over-ride the error in order to simply scan a photo?
I am operating from a Mac powerbook.
Try holding down the red reset button for > 5 seconds. This should get rid of the error by disengaging the ink level detector.
