I get random unwanted midi notes triggering while I plug my dd-55 into my emu x-midi 2x2 with my Reaper DAW. I don't know if this is a problem with the emu or the dd-55 itself, but it doesn't...

Check that you don't have MIDI echo on in the DAW. If the MIDI data is echoed, it MAY be merging with the outgoing and when MIDI signals are merged in pieces instead of whole messages the data is corrupted. If you can look at the data stream with software, you should be able to spot the problem. Another problem might be excessive latency of the recording software. Make sure you do not have antivirus or antispyware programs running or network running. The Roland will spill data at much less rate and while the dd55 may overrun the DAW the Roland might not be able to. The key to the problem is to analyze the MIDI data stream that is being recorded.

I wanna have an echo everytime I speak with my microphone when I sing with Mp3 even in youtube. How I could have an echo in my realtek?

Er, are you sure you don't mean reverb, or tape delay? Because echo makes it prone to several kinds of feedback that might not be easy on the ears. In any case, go look for (free, even) software (e.g. via VersionTracker.com ) that has awesome feedback cutout FIR filters in it, and reel-reel delay echo effects to help you out. Good idea, doing it in hardware.

Nothing to be had at FileGuru?

I understand the RealTek shipped with some mic effects stuff, but unless RealTek happen to have released a filter studio kit, you get to either use software development tools to examine what's going on with the demo, invest in a piece of software whose authors threw down for the RealTek filter IP, or write this thing in Python or Perl or C# or D or whatever's handy.

Need to know the gas to oil ratio for my feather lite weedeater. Model FL21

"Echo Power Blend Universal 2-Stroke Oil can be used in all of our 2-cycle air-cooled equipment ever made. You may also use this oil in any other brand of 2-cycle air cooled equipment, but it should always be mixed at the 50:1 ratio whether or not it was a 32:1 or 16:1 etc. machine. This oil is the highest quality 2-cycle oil on the market today. There is no need to have more than 1 tank of fuel for your 2-cycle equipment any more."
The above excerpt is from the Echo FAQs (6) here:
http://www.echo-usa.com/faqs/

Oil Mix Ratio:
The following ratios have been recommended for the last 10-15 years.
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
McCulloch, Poulan & Wen; recommend 40:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 3.2 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 100 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.
Chinese chainsaws recommend 25:1.

I can hear my own voice echoing during calls to other phones. The worst is when I talk to my wife who also has the same phone Samsung Instinct with Sprint Any way to fix this? The echo will at times last...

It's a common problem with the network. There is nothing you can do but call back the person. Anyone tells you different they are pulling yor leg, my wife and I have Iphones for 3 years now, and sometimes it will happen for a few weeks and then stop. Some phones do it more than others, you can try an upgraded sim card, but if you have everything new I doubt it will help, sorry.

Watch tv properly with JVC DVD off

Some philips tv's have a built in aerial amplifier, perhaps if you bought a digital aerial booster it will improve the picture quality.

CAN I ADD AN ECHO OR REVERB TO INPROVE THE SOUND

Well, I don't think you can add Reverb/Echo Internally but Externally.
External Echo/Reverb unit is available but most of them are AC Operated but Mipro MA-101 is Rechargeble Battery Operated.
You may be able to find Battery Operated Reverb/Echo units but they are usually Line Drive (not a Microphone Drive).
Go to a Music instrument store or a Guitar store.
Usually they have ton of these.

Though, You will not improve the sound much at all by using Reverb/Echo unit since you are very limited by quality of the amplifier itself too.

TV has shadowing double images/colors are uneven

It sounds like the problem one can have from a weak signal. This kind of problem is normally associated with the use of an antenna which is receiving the primary signal, then a secondary one that is being reflected to you from a distance; an echo. The first signal is the one you are seeing best, then from some distance, the same signal is being sent back to you with a time delay of a few microseconds causing a shift in the images. A repositioning of the antenna orientation is the only solution.
If you are on cable, you will need to call them and holler about the signal quality. Thinking this through, I don't think this can happen when receiving satellite signals since the antenna is pointed toward the sky and the chances of any noticeable reflection are close to nil.

Factors that Affect Voice Quality
  • Audio Compression Algorithm
Speech signals are sampled, quantized and compressed before they are packeted and transmitted to the other end. For IP Telephony, speech signals are usually sampled at 8000 samples per second with 12-16 bits per sample. The compression algorithm plays a large role in determining the Voice Quality of the reconstructed speech signal at the other end. The SPA supports the most popular audio compression algorithms for IP Telephony: G.711 a-law and µ-law, G.726, G.729a and G.723.1. The encoder and decoder pair in a compression algorithm is known as a codec. The compression ratio of a codec is expressed in terms of the bit rate of the compressed speech. The lower the bit rate, the smaller the bandwidth required to transmit the audio packets. Voice Quality is usually lower with lower bit rate. However, Voice Quality is usually higher as the complexity of the codec gets higher at the same bit rate.
  • Silence Suppression
The SPA applies silence suppression so that silence packets are not sent to the other end in order to conserve more transmission bandwidth. Instead, a noise level measurement can be sent periodically during silence suppressed intervals so that the other end can generate artificial comfort noise that mimics the noise at the other end using a CNG or comfort noise generator.
  • Packet Loss
Audio packets are transported by UDP which does not guarantee the delivery of the packets. Packets may be lost or contain errors which can lead to audio sample drop-outs and distortions and lowers the perceived Voice Quality. The SPA applies an error concealment algorithm to alleviate the effect of packet loss.
  • Network Jitter
The IP network can induce varying delay of the received packets. The RTP receiver in the SPA keeps a reserve of samples in order to absorb the Network Jitter, instead of playing out all the samples as soon as they arrive. This reserve is known as a Jitter Buffer. The bigger the Jitter Buffer, the more jitter it can absorb and the bigger the delay it can introduce. Therefore the jitter buffer size should be kept to a relatively small size whenever possible. If jitter buffer size is too small, then many late packets may be considered as lost and thus lowers the Voice Quality. The SPA can dynamically adjust the size of the jitter buffer according to the network conditions that exist during a call.
  • Echo
Impedance mismatch between the telephone and the IP Telephony gateway phone port can lead to near-end echo. The SPA has a near end echo canceller with at least 8 ms tail length to compensate for impedance match. The SPA also implements an echo suppressor with comfort noise generator (CNG) so that any residual echo will not be noticeable.
  • Hardware Noise
Certain levels of noise can be coupled into the conversational audio signals due to the hardware design. The source can be ambient noise or 60Hz noise from the power adaptor. The SPA hardware design minimizes noise coupling.
  • End-to-End Delay
End-to-end delay does not affect Voice Quality directly but is an important factor in determining whether subscribers can interact normally in a conversation taking place over an IP network. Reasonable delay figure should be about 50-100ms. End-to-end delay larger than 300ms is unacceptable to most callers. The SPA supports end-to-end delays well within acceptable thresholds.
