This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.

Common Symptoms include....

  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on. Power light will blink. TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some images of convergence problems.

I have a sony KJ-51WS510 and that picture is blurred out into different colors like its 3d and no quality what could be the solution to this problem?

If your TV looks 3D, warped, or distorted it likely has a convergenge problem.
If however it just looks dull, washed out, redish, or if it looks like objects on the screen have halos the fluid in the lens has soured.
You can search google for parts or you can get the parts with repair instructions from sites such as www.TvRepairKits.com

The picture is blurred, words are blurred . . overlaid with red. Tried Magic Focus after 20 minutes and it was no better

you need to change the convergence chips that are attached to a heat sink, they are the two black chips with a lot of legs on them.

Blurred color images

I'm not sure of what brand and/or model you have, but most have a maintenance mode to do color alignment.

Smoke

dude, follow these steps and u will make it.

1)first, make a new layer and set your foreground color to a light tone of grey which suits the color of smoke and the background color to black to have a stark contrast.

2)make ur foreground color active.press alt + backspace on the keyboard by making sure the new layer is active.

3)go to the filters menu and choose noise>add noise.

4)play around with the noise values until u have a clear contrast in the add noise area.

5)click ok, and go back to the filter menu, blur>motion blur. increase the value just slightly.

6)now, u will have a kind of a rainy effect.all u have to do now is to go to filter menu>liquify and choose a slightly medium sized brush and warp the layer to ur heart's content until u get a shape of the smoke. At this stage, it looks somewhat like smoke, but to add more reality, reduce the opacity values slightly to see the real effect of a smoke.

7)if u want to see the smoke more clearly, just adjust the levels in the levels command.enjoy!!

7)thank you! If you have further doubts, please make sure u post a question, we are here to help u!!!!!!

Pictures are blurred........... HELP

When you reboot your computer, hold down the "Delete" key. This should take you to a black screen and multiple options like "Safe Mode", etc. Choose "Last Known Good Configuration" then see if that helps.

If the pictures on the Internet are blurred, it's most likely due to a setting in your router/modem or web browser that is loading the page with minimal image quality and size to make browsing faster.

Toshiba TP55E51 blurred picture

You must be more specific with your description. Blurred? Like double images; or poor focus; etc.
