Hopefully you did make sure it is plugged in all the way or that a breaker or fuse has not blown. Sometimes we don't remember or think to check the obvious

I have cleaned the coils this morning, but the refrigerator section does not appear to cool. The freezer seems fine. This is model eti18PKXGWI ser no. 042 9086 eemingly c. 10 years old.

Your freezer fan has probably quit. On most refrigerators the freezer is the only compartment actually cooled by the compressor and coils. The refrigerator compartment is feed cold air from the freezer compartment by way of a small fan. If you have you refrigerator turned all the way up and the door open you should here the fan running and be able to feel air moving somewere in the refrigerator compartment.

Frige freezing solid

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Refrigerator warm, freezer is fine.

Hi: It is either the defrost heater (most likely) or the defrost timer. The airway to the fresh food is clogged with frost. I doubt your freezer is packed as you could put your hand on the vent. If you block the vents this can cause the problem also. Check the defrost heater and replace if necessary. It is a wire coil in a glass tube. if the coil is broken it is bad. Look at your parts list or on line at Sears Parts. to find out where it is. I hope this helps, Jeff

Refrigerator getting hot!

There is a part of the condenser called the mullion loop that adds heat to keep moisture from building up and causing the door gaskets to stick. If it's too hot to the touch, first check your frige and freezer temps. You'll obviously know if the frige is too cold, but you may not know if the freezer is too cold. The freezer should be between 5-10 deg ABOVE zero. Any colder and the frige will have to work harder and would create more heat. Also check the condenser coils. If they are dirty it will prevent the frige from removing the heat properly. The condenser should be cleaned at least annually. Most friges have a condenser fan motor. Make sure the motor is running and the fan blades are clean. Most friges also have a cardboard type panel on the back at the bottom. That panel directs the air flow across the condenser and must be in place. If it's missing or damaged it will need replaced.

Side by side Sub Zero not cold enough.

How old is "OLDER" ? If there is no frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer you could have one of two problems. On older units the compressor wears out with years of service and no longer pumps efficiently. Or it could possibly be low on refrigerant charge. ether one of these two problems is a sign that is time to update to new unit.

If you have frost buildup on the back wall of the freezer section you then would have a problem in the defrost circuit attributed to the timer, defrost heaters or defrost thermostat.

Fridge not cold, freezer fine...

look at the back inside wall of the freezer. you might need to put your hand on it to feel it. if you see or feel frost the you have a defrost problem. if its not defrosting the frost builds up and blocks air flow from the freezer to the frige so the frige cant cool. it will either be the defrost element, defrost thermostat or the defrost timer causing the problem
