Re: printer epson lx-300+II
Changing the default settings in the printer using the printers panel may be a bit difficult but it should be manageable. As soon as you enter the default setting mode it will print a guide, the guide will include the current setting. The guide will also give you the corresponding value of a certain setting according to the status of the light. The first two boxes will correspond to the font lights and the last box on the guide refers to the pause light. pressing the lf/ff button cycles through the options and pressing the tear off button will select the current option and cycle through the options as well.... However, in any printing environment, the setting in the APPLICATION OVERRIDES the setting in the PRINTER. So, whatever setting you select in the printers' default will be overridden by the applications' settings....

Normally you never have to adjust lever, all adjustment normally is done at brake shoe assy.
To adjust the cable, there is a 10 or 12 mm bolt in between the two cables. Clockwise tightens, counter-clockwise loosens.

Do check the rear brakes but below is some help as far as adjusting the cable the proper way. Per specs after all is done your parking brake should be correct as you pull up the lever after 4 - 8 clicks. Hope this helps....
unless the cable is siezed their should be no reason to change the cable ,slacken adjuster right off then remove the rear drums and clean the lip on the outside edge with a small angle grinder and adjust brakes up amnually and this will cure your problem ,then adjust handbrake cable up to 3 notches and it will be perfect
Your brakes need to be adjusted first. Then worry about the handbrake.Don't get this wrong or it could be very bad.Get the brakes done, adjust the h/brake.
Cars can go but they MUST stop.Dont shortcut on the brakes.
H/brake adjustment is usually beside the h/brake lever
Hope this helps
The thermostat cannot cause your heater to go out, though the heater will run a little cooler if the thermostat is stuck open. Please see my tip athttp://www.fixya.com/cars/r6235876-no_heat_fan_blowing_cold_air to troubleshoot the heater. In particular, I would start by checking the temperature control cable adjustments. I have pasted instructions from autozone.com below.
If you really want to change the thermostat, please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r5929960-s_thermostat . The thermostat is in the housing at the end of the upper radiator hose. For the speedo, It's probably a broken cable. Have someone take the cable off the tranny and spin the cable in their fingers while you watch the speedo. If the speedo works, the problem is with the gear in the tranny, else the cable is broke. Let me know if you have more questions along your journey. :o) Heater temperature control cables to blend door and heater water valve--adjustment: WATER VALVE CONTROL ROD
See Figure 8 When adjusting the water valve control rod, disconnect the temperature control cable at the air mix door lever and then adjust air mix door control cable. Next, adjust the control rod. Reconnect the temperature control cable and then readjust it.
Push the air mix door lever in the correct direction.
Pull the control rod in the direction shown (in the accompanying illustration) until there is an 0.08 in. (2mm) clearance between the ends of the rod and link lever. Connect the rod to the door lever.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL CABLE
See Figure 9
Move the temperature control lever to the cold position. Push the cable sheathing and the air mix door lever in the correct and then tighten the clamp. Verify proper operation.
