IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO JUST REPLACE IT. YOU CAN BUY PRINTER AS LOW A 30 DOLLARS AT WAL-MART. IT IS THE INK THAT GET COSTLY.

Wipe the cartridge of cotton,don't use water.Make sure the black is not empty.

Look in the rear of the of the machine far an ACCESS DOOR,

In HP PSC 1315 printer after replacing new Ink Cartridges the printer always prints Alignment test page every time you turn it ON.To resolve this problem you must complete the alignment process.

Steps

1.Turn the printer ON.
2.Once its ON, it will print the Alignment page. Place the page in the scanner bed correctly.
3.Then Press START SCAN button.
4.The power light will start blinking, wait until the power lights turns solid.
5.Now Alignment process is over.Discard the paper from scanner.
6.Turn the printer OFF and then ON, it will not print that page again.

Note:Please follow this steps every time when you replace the Cartridges.

plz check the correct paper size or try with another brand of paper

Look in the printer software on the computer for paper size settings. If that doesn't help go into the settings menu on the printer it self. If you have HP Setup Assistant on your computer, use that to reset up your printer to your computer.

Are u using the original HP ink ? The HP ink is formalated to dry fast. You might try using a different ink cartridges, but try a couple sheets of HP photo paper to see what happens.

printer will not copy or print but takes in paper - it shoots it straight out but stops half way - we then have to press OK for the paper to be ejected.

The size of the paper makes no difference and it continues to take in pages even after the print has been cancelled - help
