Had this problem too. Solved it by cutting a small piece of thin card (cigerette box} or anything similar , and inserting it along with the r4 card to make it a tighter fit.Insert it in the back side of the r4 card, not the side with the metal contacts.hope this helps.

I had two DS consoles for my kids - both stopped recognizing discs... I called Nintendo, and they wanted $75 each to fix, or $85 each for a refurb.

I got to looking, and the contacts appeared greenish, inside the machine.

So, thinking I had nothing to lose - I tried a nail file, the ones that look like a popsicle stick with sandpaper on them and inserted the softer side down, and polished the contacts inside the machine.

I spent maybe 20 seconds on each machine and they work like a champ now - they'll see anything inserted into them.

Do at your own risk, but it worked like a champ for us.

Best wishes!

This is mainly due to a slight amount of corrosion on the game prongs. when air hits copper the copper resists the air by "oxidizing", it creates like a film on the prongs that needs to be removed to make a better connection.
I have a way of removing it without scratching or removing any of the prongs.
I would be happy to do this for anyone with this problem.
just contact me at ninja_freak318@hotmail.com
and we will get your service set up!
Thanks
Josh

Sometimes this happens to me. All I do is keep clicking it in and out of the Ds until it reads. And blowing on it but you said you already did that.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My nintendo ds lite game card wont load. what can i do? Its a DSTT card. The screen loads with all the health and saftey info and it shows what game i can play but when i choose the game the top screen...

It's either bad connection between memory card and DSTT or it needs a DSTT rom update or....your DS has an issue. I have several DS's that are all quite happy to play various game cards but I have one that does just as you are describing. I have cleaned it, checked it, tried everything but it just wont work. I have decided in my case is probably a CPU or DS firmware problem.
If the DS is a copy then I would suggest changing the motherboard (£50 on the net, or replacement copies are out there for £35 but there will be no guarantee with those)

I have a TTDS card for my nintendo ds(2GB) and when i turn on the ds it says 'LOADING'. please help... i am using a SanDiak micro sd card.

Hello,

If it's stuck on loading it's probably a fake DSTT I'm afraid to say. A true DSTT will come up with a red menu icon if the wrong or no software is loaded.

You should be able to download the correct software for your DSTT off the official www.ndstt.com website. If it doesn't work still then I'm afraid you might have a fake card.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. http://www.dscardworld.com I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it. They test each card before sending them. US based support and shipping I believe.

Hello,

You need to put the correct software onto the card otherwise there's nothing for the DSTT to load.

R4Ds not working on NDS I

oh sorry didnt read your post right the first time, you have a new dsi? nintendo have been clever in not only makin the dsi region bound unlike the normal ds lite, meaning it will not play games from other regions where as the ds lite can but it does also made sure that the new dsi does not support any super card, be it the r4, dstt, n5. they are gits. the r4 ,dstt teams etc have promised to do cards that the dsi supports but dunno wen avalible yet and im guessin will cost more, sorry to let you in on this gimmick that nintendo have caused.hope this helps.

Ttds card not loading

Did you install the firmware/software for the DSTT? Download the DSTT software, unzipped it and transfer it to the DSTT card and see whether it works. http://www.nds-gear.com/software-dstt.zip

R4DS works in other ds lite but not my own, why?

this is a know issue with R4 clone cards, most R4 cards sold today are not real R4NDS cards because they have been discontinued
Most R4 clones have some trouble with firm version on DS make version and date.

No R4DS

It is possible, can be the following:
The card slots from recent nintendo's have been adjusted to avoid the use of r4ds. If your nintendo is newer you can try to put a small pice of carton behind the r4ds card in order to push it well against the contacts.
