Question about Nintendo DS Console
i am experiencing a problem with my nintendo DS. My cousin has recently
brought a R4DS/DSTT card for her nintendo ds, it is working perfectly fine
for her ds, however when i insert her disc into my game it leads to the
main load up screen ( where you can change settings, download games and
chat) and it states no disc inserted, if you could please help me with
this, as the DISC itself is workng fine on her game... PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE TRIED BLOWING INTO THE GAME BUT IT STILL SAYS NO DISC ENTERED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Had this problem too. Solved it by cutting a small piece of thin card (cigerette box} or anything similar , and inserting it along with the r4 card to make it a tighter fit.Insert it in the back side of the r4 card, not the side with the metal contacts.hope this helps.

I had two DS consoles for my kids - both stopped recognizing discs... I called Nintendo, and they wanted $75 each to fix, or $85 each for a refurb.
I got to looking, and the contacts appeared greenish, inside the machine.
So, thinking I had nothing to lose - I tried a nail file, the ones that look like a popsicle stick with sandpaper on them and inserted the softer side down, and polished the contacts inside the machine.
I spent maybe 20 seconds on each machine and they work like a champ now - they'll see anything inserted into them.
Do at your own risk, but it worked like a champ for us.

This is mainly due to a slight amount of corrosion on the game prongs. when air hits copper the copper resists the air by "oxidizing", it creates like a film on the prongs that needs to be removed to make a better connection.
I have a way of removing it without scratching or removing any of the prongs.
I would be happy to do this for anyone with this problem.

Sometimes this happens to me. All I do is keep clicking it in and out of the Ds until it reads. And blowing on it but you said you already did that.
