Relating to techie matters, however once I learn how to complete a task

Dear Mr. Davies
I do not think it is very difficult to use the model you mentioned.
the camera comes with the mode selector dial which is close to the shutter release button. make sure you keep it on the auto mode (usually the mode which has a green camera picture).
After that just aim and shoot. the pictures get saved in the memory card. Please make sure you have a memory card in place before you start taking pictures. I would recommend a 512 mb card. Try 1 GB or higher card when you go on Holidays with no access to PC/laptop to download pictures.
the next part is to be able to download the pictures you have taken to a PC/Laptop. this is again simple. Just use the cable that comes with the camera (usually grey in colour). connect the cable to camera and another end to PC and switch on the camera. Windows automatically recognizes the camera and will prompt you to download. specify the download location otherwise the default location would be My documents-my pictures(even better).
most of the other options available on the camera works the same as manual cameras (if you have used any). Just that they used to be mechanical functions before and now they do the same functions digitally.
I hope this helps.
Please write out a cheque to me and take a picture of the cheque and send it to me by email!! If I am able to see the picture clearly (which I am sure i would be able to) i will know I have been suitable rewarded!!
take care
