Sm bus controller drivers

I have toshiba laptop satalite with 2 operation windows 2000 and HP windows running thus slowing the system down consiradably. Idealy would like to delete the windows 2000 professinal. Please help

There are 3 pages of downloads, have you downloaded and installed all relevant drivers?
I have looked about and a few people have had similar problems, but usually on laptops that came with vista and have been downgraded to XP.

There are a lot of things that do not work on Vista that do work on XP. For that reason some of my client's have asked me to re-install XP so they would not have to upgrade their hardware and software programs. You could have the same problem.

Here is a list of all the drivers for your unit. The SM bus drivers is usually contained in the chipset download file.:

Try driverguide.com

reinstall sound device drivers. go to control panel/right click properties, locate sound/audio and see if all drivers are working properly.

go to system maintenance.locate sound and check drivers are for that specific card.

It looks like that there are so many brothers here with the similar problems as I. I bought the Toshiba Satellite A135-S2386 with Vista Home Basic on it. And, of course, I wiped out the Vista and installed the XP Home. Like most people, I had 6 unfound drivers at first. Thanks to the previous posts, I got video cards, wireless and SM bus working. Now, I still can't get modem and two other unknown devices to work. Can anyone help me this? My Drivers does not load From CD. Like Vidio Controller, Graphics etc..
